Apparatus is a collection of free, browser-based file conversion tools. All file processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to a server.
Apparatus does not collect personal information from its browser-based tools. We do not store your files or any data derived from them. Some connected tools may require a Google account for device access — see each tool's page for details.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (e.g. which tools are popular, where traffic comes from). Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode — no cookies are set on your device and no personally identifiable information is collected.
In this mode, Google receives anonymous, aggregated page-view data. It does not track you across sessions or across other websites. You can learn more about how Google processes this data in the Google Privacy Policy.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard connection metadata (IP address, request headers) as part of delivering the site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.
