Converting between lossy formats (MP3, AAC, OGG) always involves some quality loss. For lossless conversion, use FLAC or WAV. Converting from a lossy format to FLAC/WAV preserves the existing quality but will not recover lost data.
CBR (Constant Bitrate) uses the same bitrate throughout the file, giving predictable file sizes. VBR (Variable Bitrate) adjusts the bitrate dynamically, generally producing better quality at a smaller file size. V0 is the highest VBR quality.
There is no hard limit, but very large files (over 2 GB total) may be slow or run into browser memory constraints. For best results, keep total input size under 1 GB.
